This Privacy Policy explains what information Go Overland America ("we", "us", "our") collects through this website (the "Site"), and how it's used. The Site is informational — it introduces our trips and lets you get in touch. It does not process bookings, payments, or accounts.
Information we collect
- Contact form: if you use the trip-planning form, we see whatever you choose to enter — typically your name, approximate travel dates, group size and a message. Submitting the form opens a pre-filled WhatsApp chat (or an email, if you pick that option) from your own device; the Site itself does not store form submissions on a server.
- WhatsApp and Instagram: if you message us there, that conversation runs on those platforms under their own privacy policies (Meta). We see and keep only what you send us, the same as any other message.
- Analytics, if enabled: we may use Google Analytics 4 and/or the Meta Pixel to understand how the Site is used — for example, which pages are viewed and which buttons are clicked. These can set cookies and collect things like approximate location (country/city level, not GPS), device and browser type, and pages visited. We don't use this to identify you personally.
- Language cookie: the Site sets one small cookie to remember whether you've chosen Hebrew or English, so you don't have to pick again next time. It holds only that choice — no personal information.
What we don't collect
The Site has no user accounts and doesn't process payments or store payment details. We don't knowingly collect information from children.
How we use it
To respond to your enquiry and help plan your trip, and — where analytics are enabled — in aggregate, to understand and improve the Site.
Sharing
We don't sell your information. We share it only:
- with WhatsApp, Instagram or your email provider — whichever channel you chose to reach us on;
- with Google and/or Meta, if analytics are enabled, under their own privacy policies;
- if the law requires it.
Cookies
Beyond the language cookie above, analytics tools (if enabled) may set their own. Your browser lets you block or delete cookies at any time.

- You can skip the contact form and reach us directly by WhatsApp, Instagram, email or phone instead.
- Most browsers let you block or delete cookies.
